The SSIF (Strategic School Improvement Fund) Project has been running since January 2018, and is focused on narrowing the achievement gap between disadvantaged pupils and all pupils, in both primary and secondary schools. The project is being delivered in three strands:
- Strand 1 focuses on early reading skills
- Strand 2 is concerned with effective pupil premium strategies
- Strand 3 is focused on improving the transition from primary to secondary school for disadvantaged pupils
Current training opportunities being advertised in response to these three strands of work are being advertised here, as well as being directly promoted with supported schools.
