Bury Secondary NQT Programme 2019 - 2020

Our aim is to provide our NQTs with the high quality support that is needed at the start of their teaching career. Our programme ensures that all newly qualified teachers are equipped with the knowledge, skills and understanding essential to become effective teaching practitioners. The programme consists of five face to face sessions and a full day conference, providing an opportunity for NQTs to reflect on their teaching experience and identify and share success amongst colleagues. They will then have an opportunity to explore areas of development, both personal and professional and complete a school based project. NQTs will be supported by a Specialist Leader of Education through their induction year. This programme is provided through the BSLC CPD offer to all BSLC member schools, free of charge. NQTs from schools who are not a member of BSLC can still attend, please contact us for pricing details and to reserve a place.
