  • Recognising the level of accountability of the designated Teaching Schools Christ Church and Elms Bank and acknowledging the support necessary from all alliance members

We want to achieve our vision of:

  • Building capacity and facilitating the sharing of knowledge and expertise
  • Providing a strong supply of high quality new teachers in Bury and beyond
  • Significantly improving the quality of serving teachers
  • Developing great leaders and the next generation of headteachers
  • Supporting schools in need of support, particularly schools in a category or  below floor standards
  • Providing consistently outstanding pedagogy through the Bury Learning Collaboratives (primary and secondary) and our own bespoke courses
